Randall

Randall isn’t the most experienced with a wrench, but he had interest in a very wide verity of things in and around e automotive world.

Meet Jezebelle, so named by Randy’s wife for its ability to steal his time and money. Jezza is a 2001 BMW 540i sport. Powered by a ~300 hp 4.4l German V8, this surprisingly swift sedan, handles as well as much smaller cars. It’s automatic transmission does have a sport mode with sequential shift mode, and it’s quite responsive.

It’s currently sitting around the 180,000 mile mark, and was obtained for a sub-$2000 price tag. With its fading paint on the bumpers and subdued styling, it’s a true sleeper.

This is a Ford F-150. Full name would include *takes deep breath* 2013 Ford F-150 Supercrew Longbed FX4 4×4 with 3.5l twin-turbo Ecoboost V6. That engine produces 365hp and 420ft lb of torque from deep in the rev range. This super-capable truck will be mostly used as a tow and camping rig. Equipped with heated and cooled leather seats, a rear e-locker, and a range of other comfort and utility options, this truck should prove quite fun.

Previously owned by Garage Night co-host Dan, this pup just crosses the 100,000 mile mark and shows no signs of slowing down.

Frank. Named after the detective played by Steve McQueen in the 1969 movie Bullitt, Frank is in fact a 2001 Ford Mustang “Bullitt”. A special edition only initially offered for the 2001 model year (until the 2008-2009 and current ones were made), it was one of 3300 dark highland green mustangs produced. Above and beyond the stand and new edge GT, the Bullitt included an upgraded aluminum intake plenum, dual bore throttle body, subframe connectors, unique exterior and interior trim, and more importantly a spoiler delete.

Obtained as a 20th birthday present to himself, Frank served as a garage queen from 2010-2019. The subject of many adventures, the car was moved on to another new owner in their 20s, as Randy started a new adventure of the Bavarian sort.

The stalwart, Little Blue. Randy’s little blue ranger was (practically) his first car. In his stable since he was 16, the truck has seen some things. It’s been rolled twice, and damaged more than that. Just as a Phoenix, it rises from the ashes stronger than before.

Little Blue is a 2004 Ford Ranger. 4×4, 4.0l V6, 5 speed manual, 2 door extended cab. When it first arrived in his driveway, the grill was from a 2wd, the passenger mirror was from the pervious generation, as was the front valance. The 60/40 seats had been cut into bucket seats with what appeared to be a hacksaw, and zip tied closed. The vinyl floor was hiding half an inch of dirt, and the bed had holes that appeared to be from a blow torch. Through the years of adventures and subsequent repairs, Little Blue has never looked better.

Tied for the title of oldest ride on the podcast, this classic Mopar has seen a lot.

This 1950 DeSoto Deluxe sedan has a flathead 237 cubic inch straight six. Though the 116 claimed horsepower is almost certainly false,
